Al Shabaab, Shabelle Valley Fighters Clash

Mogadishu — Fighters loyal to Shabelle Valley administration and Al shabaab on Monday clashed in parts of Hiran region in central Somalia.
Reports say the fighting took place in the village of Ba'ad about 5 kilometers east of Kalbeyrka junction near Somalia-Ethiopia border.
The two warring sides have used both heavy and light weapons during the battle, according to the local inhabitants.
Aga-jof claimed that they have captured a number of Al shabaab fighters and seized parts of Beletweyne town, the capital of Hiran region in central Somalia.
No comments about the fighting in Hiran region were immediately available from Al shabaab so far.
