Fly 540 denied landing rights in South Sudan over landing fees arrears
If you were set to fly to Juba on Fly540 and your flight got cancelled and you wondered why, that is because the airline no longer has landing rights in Juba.
The airline is involved in a landing fees dispute with the South Sudanese authorities, with Juba's Intelligence agency demanding payment of 2.7 million shillings in accumulated fees, although the interior ministry says the airline owes more than 12 million shillings.
