The Somali Parliment is taken over by a strong police force sent from the presedential palace at a time the deputy ambassador of the British embassy in Addis was in for mediation talks. The special security force of the parliment were instructed to vacate the building.
The parlimenterians were prevented from interring the parliment and the Hargeisa residents turned out in their thousands to witness the impass and heard speeches delivered by their elected parlimentarians. The polititical situation in Somali land is going from bad to worse and God knows what will come out of this fiasco.
