Somali army vows to take central Somalia from islamist
Hiiraan ( Mareeg ) – the Transitional Federal Government officials in Kalabeyrka in intersection in Hiran region have vowed that they will attack the Islamist fighters in the region and recapture areas under their control, officials told Shabelle radio on Sunday. Mohamed Nor Agajof, the spokesman of the transitional government soldiers in Kalabeyrka intersection in Hiran region said that they are planning how they would attack and take over the control of whole the region in central Somalia. “The people in the region are suffering from more problems against the civilians in the region especially the areas under the control of the Islamist forces in the region. We are now organizing war that we want to protect the intimidations against the people in the region,” the spokesman said On the other hand Sheik Abdurahman Ibrahim Ma’ow, the chairman of the Islamist organization of Hizbul Islam in Hiran region had dismissed the statement of the government soldiers’ officials saying that they do not afraid any attack from the side of the TFG soldiers in the region. The statement of the TFG officials in Hiran region comes as there had been bitter words that both the rival sides in the region were exchanging through the media recently.
