A murder investigation has been launched after a woman and
two young boys were found dead in a house in Brent, north-west London.
The bodies were found on Thursday after police were called at about 17:20 GMT to a property on Woodgrange Close.
Two boys, a five-year-old and a seven-month-old, and a woman, 33, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are treating the children's deaths as murder. The woman's death is not so far considered suspicious.
Scotland Yard said detectives were not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.
The next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination on the woman was due to take place at 15:00 GMT at Northwick Park mortuary.
Details of further post-mortem tests have yet to be announced.
Councillor Reg Colwill, who represents Kenton ward, said: "I think everybody is the same, they are shocked at what's happened."
Leslie Gotts, who has lived in Woodgrange Close for 18 years, said the family, who are believed to be from Sri Lanka, had lived in the first-floor flat for about a year.
Mr Gotts, 70, said: "I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. You freeze.
"It's a quiet road, a very mixed community. I think I only saw her once."
