Police arrest another Kampala blast suspect

Detectives from Kenya's anti-terrorist Police unit on Sunday arrested an employee of a Mombasa based FM radio station in connection with the June 11 Kampala bombings.

The Kenya detectives trailed Habib Suleiman from his home in Nairobi city and arrested him in a Mombasa-bound bus in Kitengela. Mr Suleiman is the religious programmes producer cum presenter of Radio Salaam FM.
A staff at the radio station said his colleague was off-duty attending to some personal matters in Nairobi when he was arrested.
The station's programme controller Abeid Mutsmi said they had received scanty information regarding the arrest, adding that he will only make further comment after gathering adequate information.
