By: Malyun Ali
BAIDOA (RBC) The Al-Shabab militants in Somalia executed two men in baidoa town in southern Somalia on Wednesday afternoon accusing of spying for governments of Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia, RBC Radio reports.
The pair named Mohamed Hassan Adam 41, and Abdulahi Adam Abdi 31 were captured before two days by Al-Shabab fighters in Baidoa, some 250 km south of Mogadishu.
“The two men were here to spy for Ethiopians, Kenya and TFG against the Mujahidin movements as they confessed their guilty so the court sentences them for executions.” Al-Shabab judge named only Sheikh Omar said at Dr. Ayub stadium in Baidoa town of Bay region.
Shortly as he announced the executions five Al-Shabab masked fighters fired and killed in the place, Eyewitness in the scene told RBC Radio in a condition of anonymity because of security.
A large crowd of people were gathered to watch the executions that Al-Shabab forced to come there.
Despite the claimed alleging from Al-Shabab there are no independent sources to confirm for being of the two men.
Since Al-Shabab took over most swaths of Somalia they executed dozens alleged of spying, while several persons were also amputated.
