Boy, six, dies in Leeds flats fall

A six-year-old boy has been killed in a fall from the eighth floor of a block of flats in Leeds.
He fell from the nine-storey building in the Lindsey Mount area of the city just after 1700 BST on Tuesday, West Yorkshire Police said.
The boy was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he was pronounced dead.
Two men aged 36 and 57 and a woman aged 28 have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect. A girl, 16, is also being held in connection with the fall.
A neighbour who lives on the same floor but wanted to remain anonymous said: "It's awful, it's something that shouldn't have happened. It just doesn't bear thinking about.
"Children shouldn't be living that high up. It's just one of those tragic things."
