AU: Burundi Peacekeepers Killed Journalist in Somalia

released a statement on Monday saying the soldiers killed television cameraman Noramfaizul Mohd Nor.
Nor and a colleague were traveling in a car in the capital, Mogadishu, when they were shot on September 2. The colleague was wounded in the attack.
The African Union said the four peacekeepers involved have been discharged from duty and will be tried in Burundi.
The Malaysian journalists were in Somalia to cover humanitarian missions in the famine-hit country.
The AU force of 9,000 is comprised of soldiers from Uganda and Burundi. The force recently helped drive al-Shabab militants from the capital.
