Pair charged with murder over Birmingham boy's death

A man and a woman from Birmingham have been charged with the murder of a two-year-old boy.

The woman, 23, and the man, 30, have been remanded into custody and are due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
Police said the charges were in relation to the death of Keanu Williams, of Ward End, Birmingham, who died in hospital on 9 January.
Both are also charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.
The woman faces an additional two counts of child cruelty and the man faces one count of the same charge.
Birmingham Safeguarding Children Board announced a serious case review in January into the death of Keanu, who was also known as Kiwi.
