Man charged with theft from body in Chester

A man has been charged on suspicion of stealing from the body of a man who had collapsed and died in Chester.

Police believe a 57-year-old man died of natural causes after getting into a lift at a block of flats on Francis Street, Newtown, on Saturday morning.
During their investigation into his death, officers suspected items had been taken from his body.
A local man Paul Rowlands, 41, was arrested and charged with theft. He is expected to appear in court next month.
