Arrest after man shot dead in Shepherd's Bush street

A man has been arrested after another man was shot dead in a west London street.
The victim was attacked at about 1610 BST on Monday in Lakeside Road in the Shepherd's Bush area.
An air ambulance landed at the scene shortly after the shooting but the victim, believed to be black and in his 20s, died at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police is yet to confirm the age of the man who was arrested shortly after the incident.
The force's Trident unit, which investigates shootings in London's black communities, is investigating the incident.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course, police added.
Lakeside Road, Rockley Road and Blythe Road remained closed on Monday night as police attended the scene.
