Helicopter crash lands in grounds of Devon hotel

Gidleigh Park Hotel Staff at the hotel said the helicopter landed on its roof in the grounds
A two-seater helicopter has crash landed in the grounds of a Devon hotel.
Emergency services were called to Gidleigh Park Hotel, near Chagford, at about 1535 BST following reports of the crash.
Staff at the hotel said the aircraft had landed on its roof in a small wooded area in the grounds.
The two people on board, who were guests at the hotel, were later treated by an ambulance on scene for head and jaw injuries, fire crews said.
Devon and Somerset Fire Service said two crews had made the aircraft safe by using a hose reel jet and foam.
They also disconnected the helicopter's ignition system and made a fuel leak safe.
Both people on board had got out of the aircraft when the fire service arrived.
They received first aid on site, as well as being treated by an ambulance on scene, before going into the hotel.
The hotel confirmed it was undamaged.
