Western countries planning regime change in Uganda – Matsanga

 

Dr David Nyekorach Matsanga alleges Western countries led by the United States want to bring down Museveni's government.
The government of the United States has been accused of having a hand in revolutions now taking place in the Arab world and at the same time harbouring plans for regime change in some African countries that include Uganda, Kenya, Sudan Eritrea and Zimbabwe. This was said by Dr David Nyekorach Matsanga, who negotiated on behalf of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) a ceasefire between the LRA and the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF).
In a letter marked ‘Confidential’ to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, a copy of which was handed to The London Evening Post (TLEP), Dr Matsanga praised the leadership of the Ugandan leader since he came to power 25 years ago. Matsanga told Gen Museveni that during his recent visit to attend a meeting in Rome, he had received information that the current trend of events in which the governments of Egypt and Tunisia had been overthrown by protesters, had indeed been instigated by Western countries, especial Great Britain and the United States. “Uganda according to the evidence I have gathered in the Rome meeting is on the radar for regime change in the sub-Sahara region,” Matsanga’s letter said.>Continued
