Exeter wedding arrest for illegal immigrant groom

A groom was arrested moments ahead of his wedding in Devon after his visa was found to have expired.
The 31-year-old from Bangladesh was arrested as 30 guests waited for the ceremony at the Devon Register Office in Exeter.
Border Agency officials said immigration checks found his UK visa had expired.
The man was arrested on 10 March but remains in an immigration centre awaiting deportation.
A Border Agency official said the man was arrested out of sight of the guests, and the situation was explained to the bride, a UK national.
