– The rumors was set off after the two were seen on several occasion at different events looking cozy and reportedly inn love
Firyal Nur Al Hossain, Amina Mohamed’s niece was voted as one of the most influential women in fashion who are under 30 years. Her nomination came in the wake of rumors that she was courting the president’s son, fashion designer, Jaba Kenyatta commonly known to many as Muhoho Kenyatta.
Indeed, the rumor was lent credence after the two appeared hand in hand at a charity organisation. The whole of Kenyan blogsphere erupted with lofty stories of how the two were in love.
It turns out that the two are just fashion lovers who are ‘great friends’ and not lovers as earlier thought. Nur set the record straight at a recent interview where she said:
“I will say this; Juba is a wonderful friend whom I have worked with and have a high regard for. He is an amazing and creative person. He is a good friend and I’Il leave it at that. I think people gossip about things that they really do not know about,”
We will therefore be in our neck of woods by assuming that their relationship was no romantic in nature as earlier reported. It might also be that the girl wants to protect her relationship from the poring, prying eyes of the media.
