The Minister of Energy, Dr. Joe Oteng-Adjei, has disclosed that Ghana has the potential to get more natural gas.
He said new discoveries are being made in the offshore blocks while there also prospects onshore for tapping at the Owo and Tweneboa blocks which have potential oil deposits for billions of barrels of the resource.
Dr. Oteng-Adjei made this known in Kumasi at the first Jubilee Oil Colloquium on the need for Ghana to celebrate with caution concerning the oil and gas resource.
It was organized by the energy Centre of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
