A former police community support officer has admitted raping a 12-year-old girl.
Michael Yardley resigned this year from his role with Lincolnshire Police in Sleaford, where he worked from 2008.Yardley, 35, of Haconby Lane, Morton, near Bourne, pleaded guilty on Friday to raping the girl on 27 October 2010.
He also admitted four charges of sexual activity with a young girl between November 2010 and April 2011 and will be sentenced on 3 February.
Judge Sean Morris, sitting at Lincoln Crown Court, warned Yardley he faces jail.
He adjourned the case for the preparation of a report to assess the danger posed by Yardley, who was remanded into custody.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said Yardley resigned from his position with the Sleaford neighbourhood policing team shortly after being arrested earlier this year.
The charges were not connected to Yardley's role and responsibilities with the police, the spokesman added.
