Stockport burnt body: Police arrest two men

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man whose burnt body was found near Stockport town centre.
Fire crews were called to a fire in a wooded area near Wellington Street at 05:10 GMT.
Greater Manchester Police went to the scene and, after the fire was extinguished, discovered the body of a man, who is believed to be in his 20s.
A police spokesman described the death as suspicious.
Det Supt Vincent Petrykowski said the force was investigating the circumstances of the man's death.
"Obviously, local residents will be concerned about the incident, but I can reassure them that we have numerous police officers in the area and we are working very hard to find out what has happened," he said.
