KUWAIT CITY, May 25: Police have arrested a 65-yearold Pakistani for molesting his female students while giving them tuition in his home, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Pakistani is a mathematics teacher working for a private school and has been residing in Kuwait for the past 35 years.
The arrest came after someone posted a video clip of the man molesting one of his pupils. During interrogation the man has admitted to the charge.
The teacher is being interrogated and faces deportation if found guilty.
Teacher threatened: A teacher of one of the high schools in Ahmadi Governorate was threatened by a military man after the latter was caught cheating during an examination, Says Al-Syassah. According to sources, the teacher served as an invigilator for an examination which was held at a school in Ahmadi Governorate.
He caught one of the candidates cheating during the examination. The candidate, who works for the military, threatened to issue citations against him and seize his vehicle if the invigilator reported against him. However, the invigilator disregarded the threats and reported against the cheating candidate.
On a different day, two patrol vehicles waited outside the school where the invigilator works as a teacher. When the police officers asked one of his colleagues if he was inside the school, the latter said he did not reach yet. He immediately called the teacher and informed him that two patrol vehicles were waiting outside the school for him. The teacher panicked and immediately asked for help from Ahmadi Security Director Brigadier Abdullah Safah. Using the cameras installed in the vicinity of the school, the police officers were identified and referred to the concerned authorities for investigations.
