Unless there is a vision, there won’t be a destination. That is why Ethiopia envisions being one of the middle income countries within the shortest possible time, a vision that all Ethiopians at home and abroad should unanimously responsible for its implementation. The Five year Development and Transformation Plan (GTP) could be a reality if all Ethiopians at home and abroad come together and work day in day out. The government and people of Ethiopia have determined to scale up the over all growth of the country through the implementation of the Growth and Transformation plan in the coming five years in which an average 14.9 percent GDP growth is expected to be achieved. The task is so huge that it needs active participation of all Ethiopians at home and abroad. There are various ways that the Ethiopian Diaspora could help to the successful implementations of the GTP. |
