Uganda now self-reliant -Museveni

OWING to the good economic policies of the NRM, Uganda has reached a level of self sustenance, President Yoweri Museveni has said.

Presiding over the 25th anniversary of the NRM government, the President declared that the ruling party was still popular because of its good policies and urged leaders to focus on the fight against household poverty to launch the country onto the take-off stage.

“It is important to note that the NRM government is now able to fund many of the infrastructural developments in the country, with less funding from development partners,” Museveni said.
