Somali president opens training for 500 police forces in Djibouti

As Somalia’s internationally recognized government steps up plans to wage a huge offensive aimed at clearing out the nation's Al Qaeda-inspired group, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, the country’s leader, on Monday opened training for 500 Somali policemen in Djibouti.
clearpxl “Firstly, I hereby to give my sincere gratitude to the government of Djibouti, its people and the country itself, for how they are always devotedly ready to help their Somali brothers” said President Ahmed.
Speaking at the opening of the training ceremony, Ahmed urged Somali police trainees to utilize this chance and learn their lessons properly, saying that the beleaguered nation and its people are waiting for them.
Ahmed also called on the international community to help Somalia from becoming a shelter for terrorists.
