Seydou Diarrassouba was killed in a Foot Locker storeA man has been charged with the murder of a teenage boy who was stabbed to death on London's Oxford Street during the Boxing Day sales.
Seydou Diarrassouba, 18, of Mitcham, south-west London, was killed on 26 December in the Foot Locker sports shop, near Bond Street Tube station.
In a tribute, his family praised a "loving son and brother".
The Metropolitan Police has charged Thulani Thomas Khumalo, 20, of Etherley Road, north London, with murder.
He is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Single stab woundAnother seven males - two aged 22, three aged 16 and others aged 20 and 17 - have been arrested in relation to the police inquiry and remain on bail.
A post-mortem examination found that Mr Diarrassouba died from a single stab wound to the heart.
His death, at 13:45 GMT, led to chaotic scenes as officers tried to restrain a crowd which had gathered outside.
In a statement, Mr Diarrassouba's family added: "Seydou kept us upright and now we feel weak as we have lost a very special part of us.
"Life seems meaningless without our special son and brother."
