Somalia - Al Shabab Killed Scores of Ethiopians in Baladweyne

It is reported that a land mine hit an Ethiopian militery truck carrying Ethiopian soldiers in Baldweyne. It is the first kill Al Shabab carried out since the Ethiopians invaded the town. Witneses on the ground have reported the Ethiopian army casualties as four dead and 15  injured seriously.
Soon after the incident the Ethiopian army fired their guns indiscriminately on all directions injuring and killing civilians. The major cause of the Ethiopian army's defeat in 2009 was thier lack of discipline and the indiscriminate killings which they have started all over again.

The Al Shabab army left the town intact and is mobilising and recruiting more villagers to join the Jihad in the surrounding areas.

The Ethiopian army can defend their own garrisons but can't defeat Al Shabab in a gurrila war in the regions. Every time the Ethiopian ventures outside of their barracks they will be a target of the invicible Al Shabab fighters. They are in the town dressed as civilians and by all counts more superior than the malitias recruited by Ethiopia under the name of "Shabeele Valley".
