EEPCo modernizes electric cables

This October will see the completion of a 150km underground electric cable installation project in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) said.
The project consumed about 80 million dollars and was primarily financed by the Ethiopian government with the World Bank supporting some of the project’s costs. Mesiker Negash, Public Relation Head of Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation told Capital. “The excavation work including the extra work is almost concluded.
