A court in northwestern Somalia on Thursday sentenced a German national to four years in prison for making pornography with local women.
The judge in the breakaway republic of Somaliland found the 72- year-old German guilty of committing crimes against religious ethics and morality by making pornographic movies and pictures with women from the province.
Gunter Bischoss, who works as a consultant for two international relief organizations based in Hargeysa, the provincial capital, was reported to have lived in the semi- autonomous region since 1993 and is said to be married to a local woman.
The court also fined the German 10,000 U. S. dollars. A local woman was also sentenced to one year in prison and fined 880 dollars.Read More
