Two earthquakes shake Blackpool

Two earthquakes off the Lancashire coast have shaken homes in Blackpool.
A tremor with a 2.4 magnitude was reported at 05:37 BST by the British Geological Survey,
A second small tremor with a magnitude of 3.2 was confirmed in the same area at 09:58 BST. No damage or injuries have been reported.
Blackpool resident Cathy Welsh told the BBC: "I looked round and the bed was shaking. I thought it was a big lorry going past."
Glen Ford from the British Geological Survey said it could have been "quite alarming" for anyone who felt the earthquakes.
"Not many people experience earthquakes in the UK.
"There are only two or three of them a year of that size," he said.
