A man has been charged with kidnap after a vehicle with two toddlers inside was carjacked in Birmingham.
Cedric Brown, 44, of no fixed address, has also been charged with one count of robbery and possession of a knife.
He faces accusations that he dragged a woman from her vehicle and then drove away with her two young children still strapped in the back seats.
He has been remanded in police custody ahead of an appearance at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
The two children - a one-year-old boy and his sister, aged two - were unhurt and later reunited with their mother by police officers.
Two Birmingham men arrested nearby - a 19-year-old from Perry Common and an 18-year-old from Bromford - have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
