TGF officials in Bakol say they are continuing plans to retake over regions

YED (Sh. M. Network) – the officials of the Transitional Federal Government in Bakol region have said that they are continuing plans they want to retake over the control of both Bay and Bakol region in southern Somalia, official told Shabelle radio on Monday.



Abdifatah Mohamed Gesey, the chairman of the transitional government of Bay region told Shabelle radio they were amassing troops in parts of the region adding that they are planning to retake over the control of the both regions in southern Somalia which ara currently controlled by the Islamic administration of the Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen.



Mr. Abdifatah Gesey also said that their troops are controlling more villages in Bakol region pointing out that they were well fully prepared for fighting against the Islamist forces in their former centers of both regions in southern Somalia insisting that they will take over whole regions.



On the other hand the chairman of Bay region Mr. Abdifatah Gesey who is in Yed village in Bakol region disproved reports indicating that Ethiopian troops were supporting them saying that people in the region had seen only their troops patrolling parts of the neighbourhoods in the region.



It is the first time that the Transitional Federal Government officials in Bay and Bakol region threaten that they will attack the other parts of the both regions in southern Somalia which are controlled by the Islamic administration of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen.
