Somalia — Mr. Michael Ranneberger, the ambassador of the United States of American for Kenya has Tuesday siad his government will continue supporting the transional government of Somalia and African Union troops AMSISOM in Somalia.
The US ambassador who is also a representative for Somalia had visted to a hospital in the Kenyan capital Nairobi yesterday where there were more of the Somalis wounded in the latest suicide blas happened in Mogadishu on 3th december and said that they would continue supporting the transitional Federal Governemtn of Somalia.
Speaking to the journalists in Nairobi, Mr. Michael Ranneberger said that they were very sorry for Mogadishu blast which killed more different people pointing out that it would never restrict supporting the government and the AMSIOM troops who are currently operating in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
Asked about the troops that Kenya deployed to its border with Somalis, the ambassador replied that that it was right that Kenya had brough troops to the border for tightening security poiting out that it had right to keeps it security reiterating that the international community was required to the supprt the TFG urgently.
The statement of the US government follows as deadly suicide blast happened in Mogadishu on the last Thursday.
