MOGADISHU – Mohamed Omar Habeb well-known (Mohamed Dhere), the former mayor of the Somali capital Mogadishu has been released by the government forces on Sunday after missing any guilty against him over accusations of shooting lost several demonstrators in the capital.
Mohamed Dhere who was also former governor of Banadir region for the transitional government of Somalia was arrested by the transitional government troops and the African Union troops AMSIOM jointly before a month.
AMISOM troops had handed over the officials to the Somali government who submitted to the high court of the TFG and lastly brought him before justice on Sunday with more officials of the government and parents
The chairmen of the national court of the government confirmed that the former governor was not found any guilt and ordered his release.
Mr. Mohamed spoke to the reporters shortly after his release and said he was very glad to get his freedom back after 50 days of jail and lawyers demanded $10 million dollars from the transitional government as compensation.
