Mogadishu — A large demonstration against United Nations' World Food Programme WFP has taken place in Somalia's capital Mogadishu.
Hundreds of Mogadishu people, mainly children, women and old people have taken to capital streets to show disapproval about how WFP is operating in Mogadishu's TFG controlled districts.
The demonstrators were holding banners written with "WFP must leave the country" "protect the rights of IDPs" "We need the justice in distribution".
Nuro Ali Isse, one of the protestors, said there are many people who live at 21st October School in Mogadishu and added that they didn't receive any aid food from WFP so far.
Sheikh Mohammed, another demonstrator, lamented that live in desperate living conditions in Mogadishu after fleeing country's regions because of the drought.
The demonstrators called for the transitional federal government of Somalia to expel WFP from the country if it is not distributing aid food equally and justice way.
