MP Call for People in Jubba Regions to Revolt Againt Al Shabaab

Mogadishu — Somali parliamentarian on Monday called for the people in Jubba regions, where Al shabaab tightly controls, to revolt against Al shabaab.
Adam Diriye, Somali MP who is hailing from Jubba regions, told Shabelle Media Network that the residents of lower Jubba and middle Jubba regions are needed to stand firm and start fighting against what he called unscrupulous and vicious group who don't want the development of Somalia.

 

He said the forces of Somali transitional federal government in Gedo region are heroes and outraged by the problem Al shabaab has on the people.
The Somali MP stressed that if Somali military forces capture Jubba regions, they are needed to give access for international aid agencies to help and assist those who were severely affected by the droughts
