By: Abdalle Ahmed

Mogadishu (RBC) The people in the southern district of Dif, which is near the Kenyan border told RBC Radio they saw Kenyan helicopters flying low over their town.
Some residents in Dif district said the planes were seen the logo of the Kenya Air Force, and it remained hovering around the town for several hours.
The residents also said that Kenyan armed forces with military vehicles including a massive military armored vehicles and tanks have closely advanced to the border between Somalia and Kenya.
it is unsure what caused the mobilization of these forces into the border with southern Somalia, and whether they will move towards the inside Somalia to support the transitional federal government of Somalia which is struggling against Al Shabab rebel group.
Kenya security officials had told that their forces were deployed to the border with Somalia to ensure that no Al Shabaab threats would infiltrate to Kenya for retaliatory attacks towards Kenya cities.
Dif district is located in the province of Lower Juba of southern Somalia near the Kenya border. Heavy fighting between Somalia government-backed militia and Al Shabab insurgents had occurred in the Dif.
