Michelle Obama is packing is coming to Africa with daughters Sasha and Malia.
The upcoming, six-day trip will include visits to Morocco and Liberia. She will also travel to Spain.
The trip will highlight the work of Let Girls Learn, a US Government project launched by US President Barack Obama and the first lady in 2015.

That project is part of “a US Government effort to address the barriers that keep over 62 million girls around the globe out of school, particularly adolescent girls,” the first lady’s chief of staff, Tina Tchen, told reporters on a conference call.

The trip abroad will have additional star power – Meryl Streep and Freida Pinto.
Michelle Obama will be joined by actresses Meryl Streep and Freida Pinto in Morocco, where they will interact with adolescent girls on the challenges they face in getting an education.

Obama and her daughters will continue onto Spain on Wednesday, where the first lady will meet with Queen Letizia and give a speech about the Let Girls Learn initiative.
In Liberia, she will visit a US Peace Corps training facility and a school along with Liberian President Ellen Johansson Sirleaf.

In Liberia, nearly two-thirds of Liberia’s school-age children do not attend class, and girls dropping out of school have sharply risen since the Ebola crisis.
