A Class Three boy who reportedly killed his Class Two girlfriend in Nyandarua County on July 6, 2016 has recounted what transpired on that fateful evening.
The 13-year-old boy said in a police statement that an “unknown force” asked him to stab the 11-year-old girl while the two were having sex, according to The Star.
He said “a tall man with a panga and a shiny knife” appeared and directed him to stab the girl, and he followed the orders.
The minor was charged at Naivasha High Court on Monday July 18 before Judge Christine Meoli and was represented by lawyer Francis Irungu.
He said the deceased, Mary Nduta, who was his schoolmate at Githinji Primary School, was his girlfriend.

Judge Meoli ordered an age assessment and remanded the suspect for ten days until July 28 when the case will be mentioned.
He will be held at Engineer police station in Kinangop, Nyandarua.
The minor is said to have stabbed the class two girl seven times with a kitchen knife in Kinangop on Wednesday, July 6.
The 13-year-old boy surrendered to the police after stabbing the girl in an oat plantation at 7:30pm.
The slain girl’s mother Pauline Njeri said the two were last seen heading to a shop to buy sweets, and she was later called after a neighbour found the girl lying in a pool of blood.
The girl positively identified the boy as the attacker as she was found conscious but later succumbed to injuries due to excessive bleeding and rapture of internal organs.
The deceased had apparently rejected the suspect’s sexual advances.
