– Reports had it that they were on their way home from a party they had attended to celebrate a friend who had graduated from JKUAT
– The accident occurred around midnight between July 1 and 2, 2016
Six Kenyatta University students died after they were involved in a grisly accident in Etora near Sameta in Kissi county around midnight, Saturday, July 2, 2016.

One of the cars involved in the grisly road accident that caused the death of six Kenyatta University girls.
Information has it that there were seven girls involved in the accident but only one survived as they made their way back to their homes after attending a friend’s graduation party.

Their friend had just graduated from Jommo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
According to students who spoke to TUKO.co.ke, the girl who survived was described as the one “in a white dress and brown boots”.

A lorry collided with two cars including theirs. From the collusion, only three people survived and were rushed to Kisii Level Five hospital with serious injuries.
