Djibouti Appoints Hadi as Head of Port, Free-Zone Authority

Djibouti appointed Aboubaker Omar Hadi as the head of its Ports and Free Zones Authority, succeeding Aden Ahmed Doualeh.
Hadi previously worked at the Port of Lagos in Nigeria, the authority said in a statement yesterday in the capital, Djibouti.
The port in the Horn of Africa nation is situated on the Red Sea. The facility provides the only access to the sea for neighboring Ethiopia, Africa’s second-most populous nation.
