England mascot Robert, 19, knifed to death on hols

A BRITISH teenager who once stood beside David Beckham before an England match has been stabbed to death on holiday in Greece.

Robert Sebbage, 19, collapsed in a pool of blood after he was knifed in the heart.
Four others were injured when a fight broke out on the holiday island of Zante.
Jordan Manson, 18, was seriously ill in hospital. Samuel Champion, Steven Granston and Callum Lane, all 18, were also hurt in the attack at a beach resort.

Reading FC supporter Robert's death came four years after he was chosen as a mascot for an England international game against Brazil.
The lad — who was battling a rare condition called neuropathic bowel disorder — held hands with Becks, 36, as they walked out on to the Wembley turf in 2007.
But Robert found himself a world away from the hallowed stadium when he and his four pals reportedly clashed with two taxi drivers after shining laser torches at them.
Just hours before his death Robert, from Hurst, Northants, called his parents to tell them that he was having a wonderful time on holiday.

Devastated Andrew and Rhian said: "We've only just found out.
"He was due to fly back tomorrow. I had spoken to him while he was away and he was having a fantastic time."
