NAIROBI -- Kenyan authorities warned on Wednesday a suspected terrorist has sneaked in the country from neighboring Somalia and is hiding in the capital, Nairobi where he is planning violent attacks.
Police spokesman Eric Kiraithe said in a statement that Abdullahi whose other names are unknown hails from central Kenya and recently underwent terrorism training in the lawless Somalia where militant group, Al-Shabaab has engaged the transitional government in fierce fighting."Abdullahi hails from central Kenya. Police intelligence reports indicate that he recently returned from Somalia where he underwent terrorism training," Kiriathe said.
The police spokesman said the suspected terrorist is believed to be currently in Nairobi with two other associates and involved in terrorism planning operations.
"He is also believed to be dangerous. Any person with information on his whereabouts is requested to pass information to the police or other security agencies for immediate action," Kiraithe said.Continued
