Somalia: Ambassador to Syria Condemns Mahiga's Recent Steps

Damascus — The ambassador of Somali interim federal government of Somalia to Syria condemned Augustine Mahiga, the United Nation special envoy for Somalia over his recent steps of organizing consultative meeting for Somalia outside of the country.
Bashir Ibrahim Hajji, the Somali representative to Damascus said that Mahiga is doing an apparent intervention in Somalia policy.
He said Mahig's intervention in Somalia affairs is humiliation and disgrace of Somali sovereignty which is an indipident nation in the horn of African continent.
On the other hand, he said that more six thousand Somali refugees are now in Syria.
He added that 500 of them are university students who get free education in that Arabian country
