Police sealed off part of the wood following the attack on Wednesday afternoon A man has been arrested following a serious sexual assault on a 10-year-old boy in a Nottinghamshire wood.
Officers were called to an area near Third Avenue in the village of Rainworth on Wednesday afternoon and sealed off a section of the woodland.Some hours later it was confirmed a 43-year-old man in Ollerton had been detained in connection with the assault.
He remains in custody and was due to be questioned by detectives.
