Passenger dies on Emirates flight from Dubai to Manchester

All the passengers were reportedly removed from the aircraft before the body of the deceased was taken away.

A passenger on board an Emirates Airlines flight from Dubai to Manchester died, the airline said on Monday.

'Emirates can confirm that a passenger on board today's Emirates flight EK 21 from Dubai to Manchester passed away during the flight," an Emirates spokesperson said. "'Emirates expresses its condolences to the family."

According to the Manchester Evening News, a medical team met the aircraft when it landed at around 7:30 AM, and Manchester Police arrived at the scene shortly after 8 AM and confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances that led to the death of the elderly passenger.

All the passengers were reportedly removed from the aircraft before the body of the deceased was taken away.
