UAE President orders release of 1,010 prisoners on occasion of Ramadan

Only eligible prisoners will be released.

His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, will release 1010 prisoners who have been sentenced in different cases who have been found eligible (for release) due to their good behavior, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.  
The order for the relase of prisonsers comes as an act of great kindness of the President, to give the released prisoners new opportunities to start a new life, and bring joy to their families.
