Woman delivers baby in police van

The woman cried out for help when the train was at a railway station in the wee hours of the morning.

A woman delivered a baby boy while she was being rushed to a hospital in a Delhi Police PCR van.
The 29-year-old woman was on a train travelling from Gwalior to Samalkha in Panipat located in the north of India.
Indian media reports suggest that the woman cried out for help at Subzi Mandi railway station in the wee hours of the morning.
Her in-laws who were accompanying her, sought help and the PCR van of the Delhi Police received a call about the incident.
The PCR staff made it to the spot rushed the woman to Hindu Rao Hospital, who gave birth on the way.
The mother and the baby are said to be safe.
