William Cameron accused of murdering father in Paisley

A man has been charged with murdering his father at a house in Renfrewshire.
William Cameron, 26, from Paisley is alleged to have assaulted 51-year-old Alexander Hunter Cameron at a house in the town's Tannahill Road on 3 August.
It is alleged he repeatedly hit his father on the head and body with bottles or similar items, stamped on his head and body and murdered him.
Mr Cameron made no plea or declaration at Paisley Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody.
Sheriff George Kavanagh continued the case against him for further examination.
