Lancashire Police were called to a property on Longfield at about 02:00 BST on Monday.
A murder investigation is under way after the bodies of two women were found inside a house after a fire in Fulwood in Preston.
A 21-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
Police have not yet named the women and said further information would be released later.
